CHOE with another home run
This is THE charger for the car if you have a need for usb type C as well as an usb type A port. I've used it to charge up a Nexus 6p on the c port as well as a Nexus 6 and a Galaxy S7edge on the QC3 port. Both give a large power bump in a very short period of time, ~1% per minute with between 60-80% remaining in my observations. That jumps to more like 4% per minute when below 40%.

The previous best car charger I had found was Car Charger,Mpow 6.0Amps 30W Dual USB Rapid Car Charger with Xsmar Technology, Charging Smartly and Automatically . It charged better than 90% of the home wall chargers I have used, but with this car charger, Choe hit it out of the park. I've had this one for 2 weeks, and I've already ordered one for my wife's car as well as one for my travel bag.

Solid choice for futureproofing charging. Does not include a USB C-C cable.
The model I am reviewing is the 33W QC 3.0 and USB type C car charger, model TC0002.

Choetech's USB QC 3.0 + USB Type C charger seems to be a solid choice for anyone looking for maximizing their charging speeds. This device has a USB type C port with up to 3A charging speeds for USB C compatible devices. The USB type A port is both a normal USB port as well as being Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 compatible for those devices.

Testing the USB type C connection, with a known good type C cable, the Nexus 6P confirmed it was charging rapidly. This indicates that the charger should provide up to 3A of power if the device it is charging requests it, which it does in a low power state. I do not rely on Amperage or similar apps to provide testing numbers, as they are not accurate enough to confirm anything, so until a USB type C power meter exists, we will have to trust the Nexus "Charging Rapidly" text.

This is the first charger I have seen with a reversible type A port - you can insert any normal USB type A cable either direction into the port. A nice touch indeed. The power output of this was tested with a USB portapow, which indicated a 2A device received the full 2A it requested. I do not have a QC 3.0 device to test the QC capabilities unfortunately.

Included in the box along with the charger was a USB type A-C cable. I thought this was odd since A-C can only achieve 2.4A, not the type C rapid charging anyone buying this would want. Make sure if you do purchase it, to purchase a type C-C cable ahead of time. I debated taking a star off for this, but I suppose an A-C is better than no cable at all.

The build quality seems OK - this is definitely a plastic device but the glossy plastic didn't seem to creak in my use. A blue LED light, larger than some similar devices, is present on the front.

Overall - a solid choice for anyone wanting QC 3.0 and USB type C. This seems like a great purchase for someone with a current QC 3.0 device but wants to future proof for USB type C devices in the future. I do wish a C-C cable was packaged with it, so again make sure you are prepared when purchasing it.
